Andrew Walker
Co-Founder & Director
Andy brings over 30 years of security experience, combining elite military service with proven private-sector delivery.
His eight years with the British Royal Marine Commandos built expertise in command and planning within high-risk environments. Since then, he has spent more than two decades delivering protective solutions across some of the world’s most complex and hostile regions.
This extensive experience has led to a deep area of expertise within the corporate risk and security sector, ensuring clients receive practical and reliable, results-driven solutions grounded by real-world knowledge.
Matthew Watkinson
Co-Founder & Director
Matt is the co founder of ASRM and brings over three decades of elite operational and security experience.
His career began in His Majesty’s Royal Marine Commandos, where he served for 12 years. During this time, Matthew specialised as a Fast Boat Coxswain, deploying globally on maritime operations. His service included tours in Northern Ireland and, most notably, five years supporting the Special Boat Service (SBS), where he honed advanced maritime counter-terrorism and operational skills.
Following his military career, Matthew transitioned into the private security sector, where he has spent the last 20 years working as a Close Protection Operative. Throughout this period, he has protected high-net-worth individuals and families across the world, delivering discreet, intelligence-led security in complex and high-risk environments.
Matthew’s approach is defined by professionalism, operational discretion, and a deep understanding of the security industry. His Experience at the highest levels of both the military and the private security sector underpins the company’s commitment to trust, excellence, and consistently delivering uncompromising standards.
